LOCALLY PRODUCED.
Amazing video of blackbirds migrating
through the farm
in April.
Hazel experimenting with one of her
first smiles.
Garlic growing well and enjoying the
weather.
Cover crop mix hairy vetch and winter
rye ready to cut and till back into the
soil. It really looks great. It should
supply great fertility and soil tilth in the
future. Notice how well it kept the
weeds from establishing.
Poor 'Dame's Rocket', considered an
invasive species, adds a touch of
beauty and color to the wood edge of
the farm. It doesn't overly compete with
other plants, at least here. I enjoy it.
The season's first collards are doing
well. We will thin them soon and offer
the young plants for sale.
